Man dies after motorbike accident

3 July 2011 Last updated at 08:50 GMT A 40-year-old man has died after coming off his motorbike near Falkland in Fife.

A spokesman for Fife Constabulary said the accident happened on the A912 Strathmiglo Road to Falkland Road at about 1750 BST hours on Saturday.

The rider was taken to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline with life-threatening injuries but died in the early hours of the morning.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
